The Brassus watchmakers combine red gold, a precious metal boasting a warm hue, with deep sky blue to offer us an incredibly refined marriage free of any fancy frills.

The Quantieme Complet, a classic amongst classics from Blancpains Villeret collection, is exalted thanks to the presence of an incomparably-intense, sumptuous blue dial with sunburst finish. The day and month displays, featured in their respective apertures, stand out on this luminous decor, as does the date hovered over by a serpentine hand. Like in previous variations, the Moon phases of course complete this perfectly-harmonious composition. Likewise, the Roman-numeral-adorned hour chapter is pointed at by elegant hollow sage-leaf-style hands.

The 40 mm-diameter, 10.94 mm-thick red gold case featuring a double-stepped (double pomme) bezel hosts the caliber 6654. Like the conductor of an orchestra, it directs the time data displays with panache and, at the same time, delivers a wonderfully-comfortable power reserve of 3 days, i.e. around 72 hours. This self-winding movement is also equipped with a safety system enabling the watch owner to set the calendar functions at any time without disturbing the watchs running. The existence of under-lug correctors means all data can be finger-tip adjusted, as such eliminating the need for a stylus. The timepieces sapphire-crystal caseback invites to admire the components adornments, C?tes de Geneve on the bridges and honeycomb pattern on the oscillating weight.

This version of the Villeret Quantieme Complet Blue Dial is complemented by an alligator strap crafted in an intense shade similar to that center staged on the dial. Blancpain also proposes a Villeret Ultraplate with identical adornments, color and metal.
