The watch is equipped with the pressure-resistance and sealing systems of the modern Aquatimer, and features a screw-in main crown together with a self-sealing crown developed by IWC for setting the revolving dive ring. To make it easier to use, this second crown does not screw in. Like the 1967 model, which featured 8541- calibre automatic movement – then the most rugged available – the Aquatimer Automatic of today has the same movement as the Ingenieur family, the IWC-manufactured 80111 calibre. Unlike its predecessor, however, it has a see-through sapphire glass back that in no way detracts from its resistance to pressure of up to 12 bar.

The picture does not do this watch justice! I got this watch and it is more beautiful than i thought it was. I would recommend this watch to anyone who loves beauty!!
